Exclusive: 5-inch Moto G2 to ship on Sept 10 for €250

The successor of Motorola Moto G, rumored as Moto G2 and Moto G+1, should be available for purchase on September 10.
The information comes from a retailer, which got the info straight from a Motorola rep.
Apparently the Dual-SIM Moto G with 5" display, as the Moto rep calls the device, will begin shipping to retailers on September 10. Some lucky retailers will be able to get the first batch of Moto G2 phones as early as the end of August, but it's unclear if they will be allowed to sell it before September 10.
We also got some idea of the expected pricing - about €250. That's double the original Moto G price and about 25% above the current Moto G 4G model.

Moto G2 a.k.a. Moto G+1 has leaked numerous times before via benchmarks and we know most of its specs - a 5" 720p display, a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording, 2MP front snapper for video chats, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. The internal storage is expected to be 8GB, but there is no word on expansion just yet.

If the September 10 is indeed the official launch date, we guess the Moto G2 should go official at IFA at the beginning of next month. The date also falls within the frame when the Motorola Moto X+1 is expected to debut, so the company will get a complete refresh of its portfolio for the upcoming Fall.

As far as the Indian market, Moto G2 (MOTO G+1) can be released at anytime during end of september or before October 2nd week.
